ESquared Equine was born through passion. We are here to provide the equine industry with world caliber western pleasure horses. Movement is key to our breeding philosophy, with conformation, temperament, and performance also being important traits we select for.
 We have a variety of services, from artificially inseminating mares to breaking and showing; whatever your needs may be we will develop a customized package for you and your horses.
MICHAEL KOVACH • Owner
Michael Kovach has always had a passion for western pleasure horses. After growing up showing and winning on a wide range of horses from reiners to A circuit jumpers, Michael came back to his true passion: gorgeous moving western pleasure horses.
Michael double majored in college at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and received his Bachelor of Science in Animal Science (Pre-Veterinary Medicine) with a minor in Equine Science and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business with a concentration in Marketing.
While in college he rode with various trainers including Melinda Kregoski of Equine Unlimited and Jill Humphrey of Leone Equestrians Inc.. He also was team captain for Cal Poly’s Intercollegiate Equestrian Team, placing in the top 10 of the nation in both hunt seat and western classes. He won numerous equitation medals, jumper classes and prides himself on being an equitation rider.
His experience includes working privately for Patti Masini Quarter Horses in Yerington, NV where he did an internship with 30+ horses under his full care, including Principle Player. Prior to this position Michael rode for Jason Richards Performance Horses in Shingle Springs, CA. |
